About the Artist

Grayden W Scott was born in Mount Isa Queensland and commenced painting at an early age. He first studied under Mr Roy Churchill, in freehand drawing at the Brisbane technical College in the late 1950s.
He spent the early years of this artistic career as a visual display artist at David Jones Brisbane.
The first of Grayden‘s gallery sales were through the Grand Central Gallery in Queen Street Brisbane during the 1960s.
Grayden moved to Sydney in 1967 and opened many doors for the Artist and his career prosper. In 1983, he returned to Queensland and started touring overseas where Grayden has found much inspiration for his works.
Grayden has work displayed throughout Australia and the United Kingdom.
Graydon, with an eye for detail presents rich and beautifully style oil paintings with a great sense of colour. They are bright and cheerful, embodying the culture and geography of coastal landscapes.
